Bel Canto Performing Arts is a vibrant, award-winning musical theatre training company based in Perth, Western Australia.

Since launching in 2017, we’ve provided high-quality training in Musical Theatre Singing, Acting, and Beginner Dance, nurturing creativity, building confidence, and supporting the growth of young performers at every stage of their journey.

Alongside our training programs, Bel Canto is also known for producing some of Perth’s most celebrated youth musicals. These fully staged productions are cast through open auditions and have become a much-anticipated highlight of the local arts calendar. Each show is performed at the historic Old Mill Theatre, which has proudly served as our production home since the beginning.

Our production history reflects a deep commitment to excellence and storytelling, with past titles including The Sound of Music Jr. (2017), Oklahoma! Jr. (2018), Fiddler on the Roof Jr. and Elf Jr. (2019), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (2020), Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Jr. (2021), Singin’ in the Rain Jr. (2022), Anything Goes: Youth Edition (2023), and Mary Poppins Jr. (2024). We are currently preparing for our next major production, Chicago: Teen Edition, set to take the stage in July 2025.
