Matilda’s passion for the stage began at the age of four, when she made her debut in The King & I with the MS Society at the Regal Theatre. Since then, she has performed in numerous productions across Perth with companies such as Marloo Theatre, Old Mill Theatre, Black Box Performing Arts, Melville Theatre Company, and Koorliny Arts Centre.

Her diverse stage credits include Oliver (Marloo Theatre, 2007), Fiddler on the Roof (Old Mill Theatre), the Wicked Witch in The Wizard of Oz, Ruddigore (G&S Society of WA, 2013), Annie and Aladdin Jr. (2014), Little Shop of Horrors and Peter Pan (2015), and Scrooge (2016). In 2017, she appeared in Camp Rock (Black Box Performing Arts) and The Secret Garden (Melville Theatre Company), followed by her role as Bridget in Bring It On (Black Box, 2018). She also portrayed Rose in the original musical 1916: A Love Story for Marloo Theatre.

In addition to her work on stage, Matilda is the resident choreographer for Bel Canto Performing Arts. Her more recent and memorable performances include Jo March in Little Women (Old Mill Theatre), Brenda in Catch Me If You Can, and understudying the role of Janice in Come From Away, both at Koorliny Arts Centre.

Matilda is passionate about storytelling, and is grateful for every opportunity to connect with audiences through live performance.
